So to replace your battery, you have to go to service center which costs you a lot. That's why, it is very important to take care of your smart phone’s battery.
Battery is the only component in our smart phone which has the least life.

1.     Smartphone’s battery care tips and tricks.

  • Good charging habits – never drain your phone's battery percentage to 0% and then charge up to 100 %.
  • Try to charge your phone three to four times in a day with a time interval of 30-40 min a time.
  • Don't bring the Smartphone’s battery percentage less than 20% and more than 80%.
  • Don't use the charger which has the output rating, less or more than the prescribed output rating of the Smartphone.
Example: If your Smartphone supports 15W (watt) of charging, then don’t charge with a charger having output rating of 10W or 28W.

  • If you find that your Smartphone is overheating while charging then, remove your phone from charging.
  • Do not charge your Smartphone in warm or extremely cold conditions.
  • In every 25-30 days, drain your battery percentage to 0% and then charge it again to 100%, in a single interval of charge. This will help the Smartphone’s battery to regain its original power.
  • Use thicker cable in charger because, thinner cable offer more resistance which lead to slow charging and produce more heat. All these will decrease your Smartphone’s battery life.

Smartphone battery care- tips, tricks and myths
  • Remove your phone's protective case while charging, so that phone doesn’t over heat.
  • Never keep your phone switch offer more than 20 days, it will degrade battery performance.
  • If your Smartphone has AMOLED screen, then use overall dark mode. It will boost your battery's performance by 40-50%.
  • In other type of screens, this will boost battery's performance by 20%.
  • Keep auto brightness off, whenever it is possible for you and keep the brightness low, as much as possible for you.
  • If your Smartphone receives any update, then do not update for one week because in some updates there are some bugs which may degrade your battery's performance.
  • Go and check, which all apps are using more battery percentage, and if possible try to uninstall them.
    • Use Facebook lite instead of Facebook because Facebook use lots of battery's percentage.
    • Try to keep your screen off time, less than 1 min.
    • Keep battery saver mode ON, because it will keep NFC, GPS, and Bluetooth etc off, whenever it is not in use.
    • Keep the notifications off of those applications which send useless notifications or unwanted notifications.
    • Don’t use live wallpaper.
    • Keep your system and apps updated, because updated applications have better features and updated application use less battery power as compared to not updated applications.
    • Keep the sync on for only important applications because, in the background syncing always take place and it uses little bit of battery percentage.
    • Never charge your Smartphone during lightning and thunder. Any voltage fluctuation my damage your phone and battery both.

    2. Smartphone battery myths.

People often hear various myths, about phone's battery. Below table will provide all the realities and facts of those myths.

    3. More about Smartphone's battery.

Every Smartphone's battery has 1000 recharge cycle life. It means that you can charge your phone up to 100% and discharge it to 0%, thousand times.
After that, the original power of battery will be almost gone. 1000 recharge life cycle is equal to 2.5 years.
Battery manufacturers say that if you complete 400 recharge cycles, then the battery's performance will decrease and reach to 80% of the original power capacity of the battery.

Charging of battery from 0% to 100% is known as 1 recharge cycle.

If we assume that battery is a human then,
Battery will be happiest at 50%.
Below 10% battery feels weak and above 90% battery feels distressed.

At extreme high and extreme low battery percentage battery do not feels well. So use partial charging that means try to maintain battery percentage between 20% to 80%.

    4. Does the fast charger affect the phone's battery life?

Yes. Fast charger affects the phone.
It puts more stress on the phone’s battery.
Fast charger produces more heat, and one thing that you should know is, "Heat is the biggest enemy of the battery!".

    5. What are the types of batteries in different Smart phones?

There are two types of batteries used in Smart phones.
    1. Lithium-ion batteries
    2. Lithium-polymer batteries
    6. Difference between lithium-ion batteries and lithium-polymer batteries.
    1. Lithium-ion batteries are based on old technology, where as lithium-polymer batteries are based on new technology.
    2. Lithium-ion batteries can be manufactured in only fixed shape where as we can make flexible lithium-polymer batteries.
    3. Lithium-ions can store more energy density as compared to lithium-polymer batteries.
    4. Lithium-ion batteries have less output energy level, which means it gets discharged at low speed, where as lithium-polymer batteries have high output energy level.
    5. In lithium-ion, polymers have the problem of getting over charged, where as lithium-polymer batteries have no problem of getting over charged.
    6. Lithium-ion batteries cost less to manufacture but lithium-polymer batteries cost more in manufacturing.

    7. How much safe lithium-ion and lithium-polymer batteries are?

If you have noticed earlier there were batteries having capacity of 1000-1500 mili ampere, but today's batteries have higher capacity i.e. 5000-6000 mili ampere.

Since the sizes of the batteries are not increasing, battery manufacturers are packing batteries more dense.

Due to dense manufacturing of batteries, it can easily blast on small amount of pressure/stress too.
We all know that, hundreds of Samsung galaxy note 7, have exploded.

This is all due to the wrong manufacturing process of its battery.
But it's rare. One out of million Smartphone's, batteries explodes.

In every Smartphone battery, there is an electrode which is very useful. It gets very easily charged and discharged.
But as it is present in liquid stateany mistake can lead to short circuit and battery can explode.

    8. Why do Smartphone batteries explode?

    1. Pressure on the batteries - when any pressure is applied to the battery, then, short circuit takes place inside the battery because of which, batteries explode.
    2. Over heating of batteries – when battery gets heated above 80 degree Celsius, then it explodes. But in today’s Smart phones, there is an inbuilt circuit which monitors the temperature of the Smartphone. When the temperature becomes very high, the phone gets automatically switched off.
    3. Dendrite formation – during charging and discharging ions move from negative terminal to positive terminal and vice versa. During the movement of ions, dendrite formation takes place. When it becomes hard, then it pierces the separator leading to short circuit and eventually blasting.

    9. Why does the company uses user non removable batteries?

    1. Non removal batteries are safe because of different layers of protection it is coated with. When they fall, these layers do not separate and due to hard back cover, batteries are not damaged.
    2. Non removable batteries can be made in any shape, to maximize the capacity of battery. For example; iPhone X has a ‘L’ shaped battery.
    • It shows that company can utilize the free space in the phone easily.
    • It also maximizes the capacity of the phone.
          3. It is not possible to make thinner phones with metal or glass back with user-removable battery.
4.As we know that, the Smartphone's batteries start degrading very fast. After 2 to 2.5 years, the phone's batteries get worst.

    • It also affects the performance of the phone and all these things irritate the users.
    • This results in quitting the old phone and buying a new one.

Smartphone- Camera terms explained !

Whenever you compare your smart phone’s camera with other smart phone’s camera you often find some terms whose meanings you don’t know. In this article I will explain each and every term related to smart phone’s camera. To become a smart phone camera expert, continue reading this article. 1. BOKEH Bokeh is a Japanese word which means out of focus . When you click a picture of any subject, then the main focus remains on the subject and rest of things remain out of focus. For example:  When you click a picture of your friend, then the main focus remains on your friend and rest of the things like background trees and walls, remains out of focus or we can say blur. In cameras like DSLR, bokeh mode is done through hardware and in smart phones, bokeh mode is done through software. 2. ISO ISO tells us that, how much the camera’s sensor is sensitive towards the light. If ISO is 100 that means camera’s sensor is less sensitive towards the light. It mea
